    Hi,

We've got an Airmaster Tiger 15/55 Turbo compressor but I don't know much about it.

It's no longer listed on the Machine Mart website, but I was trying to get all the tech specs for it so I can work out what tools I can run off it effectively and wehether I can use it to sandblast/spray.

    Can anyone help?

Check the power of the motor, a ball park CFM figure can be derived from that.

I used to have one of those compressors and i'm sure it was supposed to be 14 cfm.

Just happened to have a 2007 mm catalogue and it is 14 cfm

It probably is nowhere near 14cfm though, in reality, you need a 4kw 3 phase motor to put that out.

if you want to use air tools, you will be severly limited to what you can run, as it only has a 50ltr reciever

That 14 CFM figure is probably displacement, the FAD will be much lower.

Wow - thanks for the quick reply guys.

So, the published figure in Machine Mart was 14CFM? we actually have a second compressor with a duff motor that was planned to be used as a second reciever - would push capacity up closer to 100 litres I think :D
