By Giant Tech, sold locally for £195 and 12 months warranty. I have replaced the Blue style outdoor plug with a standard 13 Amp plug and fuse.
I did trip my 20 Amp breaker when first switched on, but it has been OK since. Only plan to use in the 20 to 25 Amp range and at this can do 3 mm OK on 20 Amps.
The main reason for getting it is to save time and my ears and general mess in the garage rather then using slitting disks in the grinder Had the obligatory play with 1.5 mm aluminium sheet some 2 mm zintec and the 3mm plate all OK down on 20 Amps and running about 45 psi, which I think may be a bit low. The gauge is in Mpa and kgf/cm^2 so I did a guess at the air setting.
Three pictures, first of the alluminium cut, very quick and clean. Then two of the 3 mm steel, showing the kerf, which was easily removed with a flap disk, but I think a bit more air pressure may reduce it a bit.
Must not just play with it just for the sake of it, or I will waste so much steel that I could put to use. What that use is yet I am still to discover.
But they are a good man toy!
Cheers
Adrian
