I am a ticketed MIG welder learning to TIG on the job. I have been Tigging .125" - .5" stainless steel for over 2 years now but for a custom job am required to weld 1 inch square Brass Bar. Butt joint.
Is DC- silicon bronze-argon my best approach? I am curious to know the best results I can get from my Lincoln aspect 375 as it is a new machine for me.
The weld will be ground\polished for a seamless solid handrail.
Any tips or tricks will help as I have only welded small holes in brass\bronze a handful of times
Sincerely
