Hi all, I wanna get coded as many jobs require a coded welder, but they dont say which codes are required.
I would like get coded in Mig or flux core (dual shield I think), 4g, and then my questions are:
For structural welding, what's the most common code and the most useful?
For ship/bout/marine welding whats the most common and most useful code?
Probably mild steel, but what thickness?
Also Im not sure if go for mig codings or dual flux core codings, anyone knows whats better for marine welding and structural welding?
Any advice will be much appreciated.
Cheers
