Yeah thanks there is a thread on the build with plans someplace on the form most likely projects
The holes are good for more than I ever imagined
If you go on strong hand tools on the u tube they have a whole library of possible set up arrangements
The one thing they font show is build one heavy enough and you can even fasten hard. Working tools down to the holes- just make up a baseplate
you don't want to drill them or have them drilled it might bankrupt a rich man... You order the plate in cut perfect square and the holes are 100 mm pitch 16mm Plate and holes cut by my lazercutting place CNC who does the whole top even the location of the M1o pick up points for the lugs.
if you did decide to drill tem all you will be very unlikely to get the holes running square with even centres. tolerance of each being multiplied during layout.
I don't know how well trained you are in this sort of thing but its an expensive thing to get wrong and wrong means its only good for bolt down of slotted tooling or clamps
off memory I think I paid about £340 for the top 10mm lazercut and delivered with one extra pair of hands. It took 4 of us but should have been six to eight men. I do give the firm a good bit of work though on and off and pay on invoice rather than waiting the allowed period
I have 5 years experience have been looking a table like the strong hand one for a while but thought I could do it on my own. Do you not think a mag drill would get the holes pretty accurate then all I would need to worry about is my marking out skills?
What do you mean by 100mm pitch by the way?
