Hi guy's. . im just about managed to set a few hundred pound's aside for a welder and associated consumable's.
Im currently in the process of full shell restoration of my old audi quattro.
im on the lookout for a gas mig or tig welder for welding in new panel section's (Rear Bumper Chassis + support's) + sill repari at the bottom of the pillar (pics attached)
im wondering if someone can point me in the right direction of welder ill require. . it's 0.8 - 1 m steel ill be welding in to replace the rotted crap.
im guessng 30 amp's would be suffice for around this mm of metal?. .
Could anyone recommend a tig or mig welder that would be just right. ( dnt need it for anything else but on the audi atm) so wont be looking for a massive one
