hi all,
just a question, what is the story with a DC inverter and battery charging
a neighbour has an old oil cooled machine, an oxford or the likes, and have seen him attach the leads to a tractor battery and let it charge away
wondering would the DC inverter do the same job, without either ruining the machine or the battery exploding
also was wondering what amps should you set the machine to or would you just turn it up to the last and leave it
also how long would it take to charge a flat battery, if you had a purpose built charger it would take 10-15mins or thereabouts I I remember correctly
