Had my Esab Rebel since Christmas, it didn't fit on my old cart so has been on the floor or on top of SyStainers. Thought its about time to make a cart for it. I wanted something I can drag across the gravel and grass so wider track and chunky rear wheels. Also wanted storage for my Helmet and to hold two gas bottles.
Started with 7m of 30mm Box, the extensions I built on the side table come in very handy:
I had an idea for the look I wanted from a thread on here, I cant find it now but when I do I will add a credit but also wanted it to have a bit of a madmax look to it like the Esab. I Made it up as I went along so played about with the layout of bottles etc and cracked on:
Once I had the layout and measurements for bottles I committed to a design:
All the angles proved a pain! I wanted storage to coil all the cables used 20mm bar to give it a bit of a look:
Next was storage for helmet, flat sheet cut up with Jigsaw on the rail gave a perfect and clean cut
Fabing up the box
Just tacked the sheet as its being framed with 20mm angle to add to the look, again angles were a total pain!
All painted up, just missing a door and wheel arches, I don't have any sheet left. Pretty pleased with it, very chunky and nice balance to drag across gravel with the bottles on the back
