How do laws which applied hundreds of years ago mean that they can not be superseded? I mean, surely 200 years ago there was no environment agency so the same laws applied to all rivers etc, but they now somehow apply to every other watercourse but not yours? The duchy of Cornwall have to apply for abstraction licenses and I imagine he has some pretty old properties.
Odd thing about laws, they may be on the books, but if they have bean superseded by a modern law they can not be applied, only reference to.
Classic law, all Hackney cabs most carry a bale od hay for the horse. It is still on the books, but does not apply.
I have diverted the thread, so please let the next post be relevant to the OP.
