I've got a couple of trailers that I'd made the mistake of fitting with the then-standard Mini hubs (4x4") but now there's a dearth of suitable small tyres except at ruinous prices. I have several 13" commercial tyres that are surplus from my small van and want to fit them to the trailers. Of course, this hub nonsense had restricted my choice of 13" rims. Seems I need to find either Classic Mini-fit aftermarket 13" rims (and many of them were too wide for my use ) or some Rostyle wheels as fitted to Midgets, which are 4.5" wide and perfect for me.
So, in the backs of sheds and up garage shelves, and under benches, or even in chicken coops, does anyone have any of the aforementioned lying around? Beer tokens offered, of course.
I would prefer suitable alloys of 5" width if any are available, but Rostyles would do nicely once cleaned up.
My other option is to replace all four hubs with 4 x 100mm PCD ones and that opens up a much greater range of wheels from Euro and Jap boxen, but the costs start rising, then.
