Ah, but they never said how deep you had to sink the box
Longer screws with a nice air gap for ventilation is another alternative. ;-)

bg ones are good and 3.1 amp . bg stands for british general .I fit there distribution boards just don't buy mickey mouse crap with a lower amperage . and don't believe everything u see on facebook or are told
I've an MK one in my kitchen for a couple of years now which the kids regularly charge their ipads in, feels cool to the touch and not had any issues so far. I would probably avoid the generic/unbranded ones.
Tennant had a chip fat fire once but somehow managed to throw it burning out the back door onto the garden. Insurance man said the same as you, if the curtains got hold the house would have gone up most likely.
After browsing this thread and realising the house probably won't burn to the ground, I have just ordered a BG one, sick and tired of a houseful of women pinching my chargers.
If my house ends up a pile of ashes no hole will be deep enoughI hope your happy with the bG ones otherwise I will crawl in to a hole and hide
just don't plug dodgy stuff in and blame the socketIf my house ends up a pile of ashes no hole will be deep enough

Look up "phantom loads", these things use power even when nothing is plugged in, if your fine wasting electric go ahead and fit them, I prefer to switch things off as my electric bill is scary enough as it is.
I actually did not realise that I had bought a BG brand socket to replace a faulty one a few weeks ago, I was impressed with the quality of that one but never noticed the make and had plans to get a few more to match up the room...so the usb one is an added bonus....all nicely alike.just don't plug dodgy stuff in and blame the socket
No, but seeing that most of my vehicles average 20mpg and might see 30mpg on a steady run I don't worry about it between V8's and old sidevalves I ain't ever gonna get good economy.Do you turn your car engine off at traffic lights
Unfortunately it's not the chargers themselves that go missing here. Got 2 in every room we frequent. It's the leads. After browsing this thread and realising the house probably won't burn to the ground, I have just ordered a BG one, sick and tired of a houseful of women pinching my chargers.
Will give it a test run and if all is ok another two will be ordered.
3 under 6^^^^^^^you got kids ?
