With my recent tank cutting experience with oxy acetylene I ended up cutting a lip of the old tank sticking out of the concrete but still having 1/2" of water on one side. I was surprised how well it worked - not neat and tidy but functional.
I suppose the energy absorbed by the water is relatively small compared with the energy in the flame. Has anyone experience of 'real' under water cuttting - any special equpment used etc?
