Hi chaps and chapessess.
I now have my new welder, a Clarke 160TM, I've had a go and it seems superb. I got a great deal and advice from Mr Star at the welding centre in Tolworth.
So to get things going, I plan to do another wood burner.
I bought a few 47kg bottles a while back and have a lot of bits of steel lamp-post for flues. (all cheap as chips )
So, I was thinking about something like the attached. (you may need to zoom a bit)
The idea is to put in a large burner section, then above, with a separate door a small oven, this would be use for warming food, pizza etc. The oven would be completely sealed and double up as a baffle. Also, for a secondary burn, a box section up the inside at the back with a valve at the bottom, feeding in just below the baffle. (copied from another forum members burner)
The ash section would be closed off when in use, but some kind of level thing to riddle the ash down for clearing out.
The asthetics will come later, but wanted to get views on the principles before i get the angle grinder out.
thanks for any thoughts.
