Is there a list for thickness in amps so we could go. it's 3mm we need x amps and therefore x tungsten? for example?1.6 up to 100amps
2.4 100-200 amps
3.2 200 amps plus.
The charts will tell you all sorts of info based on tungsten type polarity current etc etc but I just like to keep things simple as above.
Alu is waaaaaaaay more fluent with many variables which makes finding general rules quite difficult. It's an ali one I am after mate.
Thanks anyway
Good Q.So what is the downside to using a tungsten that is larger then what would normally be considered acceptable? Is there a time/reason that this should be done?
I'm not doing any more of them sunshine.A 1mm tungsten is good on razor blades
Got some 0.4mm tungstens here if you fancy a challenge...I'm not doing any more of them sunshine.
