Does anyone know the airflow arrangement on a modern tumble dryer?
We had one that was on the recall list and gave up waiting and went for the option of a new machine at the discounted rate.
This was fitted with a new hose and outlet, the other day by chance i noticed that this new machine is venting a lot of fluff straight out of the vent.
I removed the vent cover and the hose has a lot of fluff along its length, probably more in this short time than the old one had in its long lifeline.
The internal filter does collect dust/fluff but not huge amounts.
I was wondering how much of this exhaust air passes over the element?, i have no idea where the filter is in relation to the element?
If that much is making its way out of the vent is this new machine potentially worse than the old one.
