I found the small 30"x1" belt sander comes in handy for all sorts!, I've two of them, A Rexon 240v unit and this stronger 110v one (This was slightly under £30 delivered off the bay!!)..
thats a fantastic job on the blueing, what did you use? or is it a trade secret..
I used it to good effect on rusty old airguns, This was a bad one, It had gone rusty then someone had painted over the rust with black gloss paint!!
I got it mostly clean for reblueing..
It's the one on the right
I also used it to redo this 1900's Gem style smoothbore although the flats of the octogon barrel I draw filled then finished with fine emery cloth wrapped around the file..
It was pretty badly pitted too!!
Came out ok though
I never did finishe the Gem, It got put away and forgotten about, I did such a good job of forgetting about it that i've no idea where it actually is now!!
Wouldn't be without one now, They're great too for honing hatchets!!
EDIT- Sorry about the first pic, No idea how it came out so big
EDIT #2- Changed the pic for a smaller generic one!

Removing and replacing little screws, like points screws, this are really useful.
