Guys I have a tig (chinese made pulse tig "Pro-tig" ) its called... anyway, Inverter Dc 160 amp jobby probably see a lot of em on ebay. Anyway it was great for a year or two but its had very little use.
I went to use it today (used it yesterday and it was fine) but theres a major problem.
When I click the triger, the HF arc fires up, but at the moment its about to initiate the proper arc the machine literally turns off, then on again. When it turns off it turns off the fan and everything. It probably only shuts off for 2 seconds or so but it simply will no weld, just arcs the HF then when it tries to switch on the welding current the machine turns off, if i hold the trigger down it goes on, off, on, off. I hope you get what i mean here...
Anyway has anyone ever seen this happen before ??? Anyone suggest if its just something simple, cause if its completely stuffed that's gonna hurt. Went looking for fuses couldn't find 1 standard fuse... blah.
