Can anyone recommend a 200mm griding wheel that doesn't cost the earth. Or maybe I should stick a 150mm on it.
Pics?Whats the reason? Any wheel can grind tungsten electrodes (unlike tungsten carbide, which is much harder).
There are two big advantages to the cheap far easten, resin diamond wheels, over a standard alumina wheel. First they generally run true enough and easy to fit without dressing, or minimal amount and second is the choice of fine grit diamond where as alumina are often very coarse. P100-200 is common, p600 is a bit rearer
3rd is that diamond wheels are often cheap on amazon, if you have a lathe, you can easily make a small dedicated 775 motor based grinder, which is what I use.
