Dear All
I have recently acquired a Thermal Arc portable wire feed unit (VS 212 Portafeed). It looks a quality piece of gear to be used mainly for site work.

This unit is powered from the output from either a Constant Voltage source i.e. MIG supply or from a Constant Current source. Am I correct to assume that this could be run from a TIG power source?
I have a Fronius inverter and wondered if I could use it to drive the Potafeed.
Thanks for any help in advance, regards Alfie
FYI the open circuit voltage on my TIG is 45V
