Telwin Telmig 130, 161 wiring problem.

hi all, i have been on this forum looking around for a while and i have found lots of good stuff. I have been trying to fix a telwin 130 i was given as it dose not work. The problem is that the new PCB is not the same as the old one and i dont know how to connect it up. Can anyone help?

D'you have a picture of the old one, or a diagram, so the techies can do a comparison?

7 is live in number
8 neutral number
6 switched by the relay

then just the motor switching and trigger to sort

i should point out there is no gas solenoid as it is switched inside the torch.

It looks like a standard Cemont/Giant board.

Thanks R Kraft the circuit is identical with the exception that C3 is in series with the pot on the harbor freight one. Anyway connected it up like that and it works. I bought some 0.6 steel wire and tips today to try it. Borrowed the pure argon bottle from the TIG machine.

The speed control works but dose not do that much. The arc is very stable and steady but sounds like buzzing (50/60hz) rather than the steady fizz I'm used to. The weld also sticks up alot.

That is what you will get with pure argon. Use CO2, Ar/CO2 or tri-mix and you will get flatter welds.

Actually for having used pure Argon,the welds look pretty good.
As shenion says,pure Argon is not the best choice for mig.
