I had to drive it a short distance after emptying...
just mis fueld me van and half filled it with petrol got it towed in to garage get it back in a couple of hours will see what it cost later . there a good bunch of lads and do my van quickly and fit me in the phrase pillock springs to mind
Why stop at the fuel? Drain the oil as well, you could use it to paint the shed. Antifreeze costs money too, you know. And the water in the washer bottle will do a nice job on the house windows. Check under the seats, there might be 5p in change hiding there.
I'm wondering what the form is if you viewed a car with an empty tank but then the owner had to use it so stuck 20 quids worth in? Would these righteously indignant lot who are calling tight-ar$e settle their conscience by coughing up the value of the fuel or would they keep schtum and tell their mates about how the guy mugged himself off for 20 quid?
Does this mean I should have returned the 50 quid note I found folded up in the fuse box on a recently bought car ? I imagine it was there as "emergency petrol money", I bet you all think I'm an evil uncharitable sod because I kept it
I found a total of £1.13 in the 307 after I bought it - added to the 1/3 tank of diesel that was in it that really made my day
acabI took the airbag out of a car displaying SRS errors, behind the bag module was scrawled 'this car is s...'
I unzipped the headlining in a police SD1 to sort out an antenna (yes they had zips) and there was scrawled 'all coppers are ......'
Both occasions made me laugh
