On what planet?
if i went to view a car and it had half a tank of fuel (if i look at a car i normaly buy it there and then ) and the bloke said can you just wait till i empty the tank mate i would turn and walk away
last car I scrapped I 'rescued' the 40 litres of petrol from it and had to go in through the sender...
That doesn't make it a rule.
if you went to buy a bag of apples and at the counter the bloke said sorry half of them are for display only and opened the bag to remove half the apples youed be half way out the door by the time he picked up the bag

and it will pick up the crap and water in the tank leaving it empty along with rustIts funny but I always drive round with as near to a full tank as possible, 'er brother doesn't run a car without the yellow light on.
I do this because I might need to go somewhere, he says if his gets pinched they won't get as far before they dump it ....
