yes- see the front page of the manual, item 14, indicates the black panel below the wire feed housing, figure III on page 4 shows the orientation of the leads for GAS/ NO GAS.
Make sure you snug the fasteners up firmly, if they are loose they will arc.
My Smartmig is on site so can't check, but mos GYS machines have information and diagrams printed on the casing, handy feature sometimes when yaint got the manual in yr pocket.
If you do use gasless, get the GYS gasless torch set up, good bit of kit.
I thought GYS would have provided a manual to instruct the user on how to setup and operate the machine they chose to purchase, my super mig, mighty mig and my r-tech all came with quite comprehensive manuals which included pictures and diagrams that were easy to follow.
if GYS have decided not to include a manual anymore then I would consider it a failing on there part and steer well clear.
Some individuals read the manual first before using the machine, some wait till the machine does not do something, some wait until they have broken something before looking at the manual.
Nearly everything come with instructions nowadays :
AND, in the case of most GYS kit if you cannot put your hand on the manual-look at the case
Yeh thanks ,I did get a booklet but found it not exactly straight forward to follow and stupidly small text didn't help either so had hoped somone with the same machine could of just given me the heads up that's all .
No worries
