So my little Clarke mig died after being revived several times.
I need to grab a welder tomorrow as I have to get my van through it's MOT. I'll also be using the mig for thicker materials in my forge (but I have stick for anything too thick for the mig to handle).
My question is about the SWA Redlines... I've never had one. What do people think? It won't be used full-time, so not a professional bit of kit (I'm maxed-out of budget at the local price of £425 for the Mig).
Part of the issue is needing one tomrw in Newport, but a local welding shop said he'd open up for me to buy one tomrw midday (nice of him!).
Anyone know anything about the redline models of SWA welders? I know proline is likely better, but how good/bad are the redline ones? And would the 180 or even the 210 turn down low enough for thin bodywork?
Thanks in advance
