Having not done much welding for a while decided I'd make a couple of Xmas presents today in the workshop (dust pans)
I found that I was having problems with the wire sticking to the tip and not feeding through. I'm use 0.6 wire with 0.6 tips. Does anyone know the cause of this, I tried a new 0.6 tip but the same occurred so I change to a 0.8 tip and didn't have any more problems.
Do some tips come up small? And is there much difference between cheaper to more expensive ones? Also, any draw backs to using a 0.8 tip for 0.6 wire?
