So, I'm a bit new to this type of soldering/brazing stuff. I've got a decent plumbers blow torch that uses MAPP gas (I use it for automotive work, i.e. heating stubborn stuff). However I was wondering whether I might be able to use the torch for other projects? In particular would love to start soldering steel?
Would it be possible to solder maybe aluminium or stainless as well? Maybe even (dare I say it) braze thin steel? (Maybe with the use of a heat reflection shield)
So basically I was wondering what processes would be possible and what sort of materials (filler/solder rods) I'd need to have a go at them?
Sorry for a lot of basic questions, hope someone can guide me, would be very much appreciated.
All the best
