Every so often someone on here asks about these kinds of machines and are generally warned off - this vid from early last year shows why that is fine advice.
I can't believe how relaxed the guy is about the mounting pile of problems with the lathe - even when the plastic gears strip themselves to death after 15 minutes of use he's "I'll just have to get it replaced"
The quality is simply remarkable - I'm not sure how someone can make a tool this bad. It was $500, too - which would have got you a decent enough second hand starter machine
