I joined this evening but have been lurking and browsing for several days so would like to start off by acknowledging the wealth of information here - many thanks!
After much prevarication I've ordered an Oxford MIGMAKER 180-1 for my home workshop. I'm predominantly a woodturner and it all started when I thought about fabricating my own tool rests, etc...and it kinda snowballed from there.
I'm a Scottish secondary 'techie' teacher by day and, amongst other subjects, teach Practical Metalwork - very basic gasless MIG welding facilities at school. (I did some welding many moons ago but that's a previous life.)
Look forward to getting the Oxford and trying MIG with gas.
Sláinte!
