We have a Silverline spanner which is used on the saw (Silverline so no one pinches it) Spanner is 17mm, nut M12...and a slack fit!
was it a silverline sander several hours could flatten one on mine in 30 secondsBought a Silverline No.7 wood planer a few years ago, had to spend several hours with belt sander grinding the base flat as it was a bit bowed, apart from that it was OK.
We will wait for a review...Well after coating off Silverline tools I went and bought these.....

We will wait for a review...
Early days maybe? HahaI used some tonight, they see ok.......
I think if you read my original post you will find my views very divided on their quality. So not saying they're the worst, But they definitely not the greatest. Value for money maybe?Lets be positive here men.
Share your good experiences of Silverline tools.
As a stockist of Silverline half my gear is made by them. Spanners are good, the engineering tools are ok. I have a digital Vermeer that is spot on. The 2 ton winch is excellent.
Tell me more good things guys.
Sorry Ashley. I'm so used to them getting slagged off.I think if you read my original post you will find my views very divided on their quality. So not saying they're the worst, But they definitely not the greatest. Value for money maybe?
I wouldn't recommend their cordless tools, Had a 18V hammer drill sent back twice now & I've also got a power file sander with a intermittent issue & squeaky bearing. But sometimes for the price you can't grumble!Sorry Ashley. I'm so used to them getting slagged off.
The thing is with Silverline the garentee is second to none. In my shop at least if it breaks or your not happy, bring it back and you get a refund or replacement. As a dealer they have never let me down as a company and replace, no questions asked.
