So I am a novice welder now with a nice new CWS 160i machine to provide some of the talent I don't have.
I have to make 600 odd 25mm long fillet welds joining 5-6mm x 25mm flat bar to make frames. It will save a lot of time if I could make these vertically - ie with the bars on edge... and I like a challenge!
A couple of questions-
1) How difficult is this and how much practice will it take to get a strong result
2) Up or Down and any tips/techniques
Thanks!
