The switch on the right controls three different settings for pulsing, constant, fast, slow
A yellow light at the top for when it overheats
The other two knobs are either post flow control or slope in/out, hard to see what they say.

The pulse settings are there to reduce the heat and hence distortion. I've not tried mine out yet.
