Having got the Romarc 200 now apparently running I need to get gas and a reg. But first I am looking at the somewhat crusty Binzel torch on it - as I am a new to MIG welding I need all the help I can get machinery wise.
So the liner is shagged, as is the diffuser, tip and shroud, the rubber hose cover had disintegrated, the swan neck is full of rust.. so by the time I have replaced all those bits I think I might as well get a new torch.
As I won't be doing anything hefty - use will vary from 1.6/3mm tube to 1-5mm plate I am looking at a Type 15 torch, probably with a 4m lead. As a newb will I notice the difference between a ebay no brand, a Parweld Eco and a Parweld Premium SB150 (as per Weldequip site) - other than in the wallet?
