Hi guys, I'm going to paint my car shortly, here is my plan:
1. prep (rust removing/converting, degreasing, etc.) - ongoing
2. one coat of epoxy (Jotun 80 for underside and floor, rust buster custom 421 for elsewhere)
3. 10 hours later, seam sealing (PU40)
4. 24 hours later, second coat of epoxy
5. 10 hours later--
5.1 underside: Upol gravitex stonechip, cellulose colour coat wet on wet
5.2 external and internal: cellulose colour coat, 2 coat
Questions:
do I have to wait for 24 hours for seam sealer to dry before the second coat of epoxy?
Any ideas to further speed up the process? I want to attend a rally next Thursday in Holland...
Cheers.
