Hello folks,
I had a really bad welding day today, my sealy supermig 185 started playing up, its about 8 yrs old. I was welding away normally and then as i pressed the trigger i blew a fuse, ok change the fuse, i did and it happened again. I changed the euro torch and the same happened.i then opened up the machine blew it all out and the same happened. Then i changed the pcb as i have a spare, same result. Im not too clued up on the wire feed unit but was wondering how easily this is changed and how to change.
I also have a sealy supermig 195 which i swapped on to and this gave me grief, the problem with this machine again about 8yr old is the feed works great until you arc then its not coming out quick enough. Press trigger and control speed ok i.e. fast and slow but when you actually start welding it slows down. Any ideas or advice folks ????
