Hi guys,
My first post and it's a problem!
So I've just completed a euro torch conversion on my supermig, and now I can't alter the wire feed speed.
When I did the conversion I split the switched live 24vac coming back from the torch and fed one leg to the new gas valve, I did the same for the neutral so the gas valve and the 24v to the speed control board were in parallel,
With the gas valve connected the wire wouldn't feed, disconnect the valve and it worked, so I installed a higher capacity 24vac transformer which supplies enough current to run both the valve and the wire feed but I have no control over the speed.
Any ideas before I pull the pcb?
