Im thinking of getting a mig welder for a few wee jobs about my garage.
I have a light weight motorbike trailer i want to modify a little and id like to be able to weld nuts on to rounded bolts etc.
I didnt really want to spend more than £150 but after looking about i can see i may have to stretch the budget a bit.
I very nearly bought a SIP T90 Gas but i came on here in time to save me making that mistake.
I will be welding inside so I think gas is the way to go judging by what Ive read here.
Has anyone got any experince of the Sealey mighty mig range? I have found th mighty mig 150 for £185 delivered online although I would need to spend another £30 converting it to gas operation.
Im see clarke welders are well thought of which surprises me (I had one of thier toolboxes about 10 years ago and pish is overselling it)
I also seen the Clarke 151 TE but this is around £250. Is this worth the extra over the sealey?
Also can anyone tell me what i should look for in a auto welding mask?
Thanks
Scott
