It's very difficult to test properly and be competitive price wise, so most companies just go with the cheapest tester
That's exactly what I've found. I have a decent PAT tester and I do a proper job but it takes longer which means you have to charge more to justify doing the job in the first place. Unfortunately, the customer generally goes for the cheaper option and uses the 'label stickers' to do the job instead.
