Hows it going lads and lassies
I just joined up here after been trolling around looking for answers on sip wire feed speed controllers
I bought an ideal 303 05172 about 15 months ago and have had trouble with the wire speed feed / controller
I contacted the reseller about not being able to change the wire speed and was told to "adjust the wire speed while arcing is how you set these semi professional production machines"
A couple of weeks gone by back in contact with the seller still cant set the wire speed and stating there was something wrong with the welder and having been sent around in circles i got ****** off and put it in the corner
Roll on 12 months later and getting having to give back a sealey turbo mig that i had a loan off I contacted S I P uk this time ,
I was advised to contact the seller here in Ireland and quote that it was a warranty failure by tech support
The machine was picked up and they cant find anything wrong with it
It was just dropped of yesterday by a courier back to my place with a no faults found
Has anyone else had problems with a sip ideal 303 wire feed speed controller or is it something I am doing wrong
9 different people have had a look at this welder from coded welders to a guy that teaches welding in a local training centre and each one say the speed controller is not right
Any ideas of where I go from here
Sorry for the long post I have a pain in my face with it all and just want it sorted out
