I have a couple of chassis here - defender (20yrs) and 101 (40yrs)
The 101 has had waxoil pumped into it before, after pressure washing only. I don't know about the defender, but it looks dry.
I've got a load of the dinitrol ml stuff to do them with, but online guides talk about spraying rust converter inside.
This seems like an impossible task. I mean I reckon if you pumped it full for weeks on end, you may get results, but in the real world?
Also, the chassis that was waxoiled in the past - I'd imagine that will conflict with further rust conversion?
I think my best plan is to pressure wash them until clear, possibly hire a steam cleaner, and then pump with the cavity wax stuff.
Unless anyone could advise different?
