Heres an alu tank i repaired a while back it had been caved in by the rh fork leg i cut a section out the bottom and anealed the area bashed it out then wheeled and polished it a new section was made and welded in was a bit dirty welding it as it was o/a welded originaly .while it was still warm i poured in some die penetrant and it showed up the tiniest defects .once i went over them i pessure tested to .5 bar with leak detector courtesey national grid and it was perfect a final polish and job done
