Hello there, first post on this forum.
I am looking for a decent MIG for an upcoming restoration project, a VW Beetle. Will only be used for tin sheet steel, but needs to be reliable and produce a good weld.
I currently use a SIP something or other, but the wire feed is awful and I managed to melt the end on some Land Rover exhaust a few weeks ago so I am giving it early retirement.
Budget is not really an issue, obviously the cheaper the better as it will not get used a hell of a lot, but I want something that will produce nice clean welds.
I know a bad workman blames his tools, but my current welder is awful!
Cheers
Will
