try to practice on scrap 1st to get the correct welder settings before going to the car...does your welder have a timed spot weld facility,this can really help for those not to experienced welding thin stuff. You need to move away from the last spot you welded to another part and then keep moving back to your preceded spot,looks like your hanging around in the same area and putting to much heat into it.Sorry am now blowing holes in metal. I'm using an r tech mig 180
looking at the pic ide try turning the wire speed down a fraction to try stop the build..just means less to grind off later. At college I was send to welding 5mm steel on a kempii welder and now I'm on a much thinner material. Instead of just welding the whole thing in one go I'm doing 2-3 spots then walking away then repeat.
