I know that neither of them are sold as a stick welder, just really a secondary function of them, so the voltages may not be ideal.
But do any of you use these for stick welding and how do you find them with different types of rod.
I can run E6013 fine with no issues easy to burn, E6010 very difficult and similar with E6011?
Now the Open circuit voltage is 70 Volts and I thought this would be enough. The fact the machine works on E6013 means the machine is not faulty and I do not want to turn it into an anti Chinese/R-Tech thread as the problem may be me and my techniques.
I did use a Miller set up this last weekend and had no issues, but then again the set up was probably 5 times the cost and not something I could ever justify.
So just asking if anyone out there has used these machines on stick and your thoughts on their second function.
Adrian
