I have a smaller type 110v transformer...I only use it with a 4in grinder which is ok with it.
But I was given a big 110v 9in grinder its 2200ww...its not very old but I know nothing of it.
But it doesn't have a lot of grunt when plugged into my small transformer...I was trying to cut some paving slabs with it and it I put any weight on it it would slow right down...in the end I had to do the cutting with my 4in grinder.
I am wondering if my transformer is not man enough for it...I know nothing about 110v gear.
Does there output vary with size...mine is like the one in this link and has no output stickers on it.
