Hi Guys,
Got a slight problem with my horizontal milling machine. It has been working fine, ive changed the speed a few times to a slightly faster rpm by moving the belts at the rear and it has worked fine. I just moved the belts at the back to give me the highest rpm, I turned it on and it span up getting faster and faster and then tripped out and turned off and now wont come back on.
When I do turn it on I can here a slight hum which I think is coming from the motor.
Any ideas? as im pretty clueless with electrics. Could it be the start capicitor? Wonder why it cut out when spinning the motor fast?
Here are a few pics.
I was going to connect the motor up to the power bypassing all of the switches but it appears to have two lots of wires coming out of it, so not sure which side to connect up.
