The mrs has been talking about getting another set of garden chairs/tables to put in the lower paddock. The B&Q offerings are pretty poor quality.
Spied this 80's monstrosity at auction. Its cast ally, but made in an era when we still cared about quality so it's rock solid.
It all comes apart into manageable chunks. Getting it blasted is no problem/free. I'd like to get it powdercoated because thats also free, and easy.
If it looks cack in a few months/years, then that's just agro to recoat it. Am I better going for powdercoat, or say acid etch primer and some sort of top coat?
We regularly powdercoat onto galv, and stainless in agressive conditions, with no problems of flaking, but ally is not something i've done before.
Any pearls of wisdom?
