sold my sealey supermig due to it being very inconsistent.
got a tenner less than i payed for it new,so no harm done.
ive read all the good stuff on portamigs, its hard not to really.the 185 i can possibly stretch to.
i called in to my local weld shop today and he recommended the Parweld 181C.
said that the spot timer would be great for bodywork.
both welders are within a tenner of each other pricewise, including the exchange rate and delivery of the Portamig.i know there wont be an issue with either vendor with warranty/faults also.
im leaning towards the Portamig, but would its extra low welding current outweigh the benefit of the timer on the Parweld?15 vs 35 amp
thanks
