I bought a tub of citric acid powder, about 5kg, to test for use in rust removal. I also bought some wallpaper paste to mix it up and make a goopy paste for larger stuff like the Bridgeport castings which I must get around to one of these days. Meantime I ended up playing with it and made my own sherbet. Citric acid, bicarbonate of soda and icing sugar. The citric powder is too coarse so the sherbet is a bit gritty and if you eat enough of it, it makes you sick.
