Hi all
Do we have anyone on here who is amazingly good at ally tig on thin pipework such as boost pipes and intake pipes etc
I'm trying to get my ally tig up to a beyond good standard and am after some tips on how people get a really even almost flush bead around pipework?
I am ok but am trying to switch careers into welding full time and am currently trialling a few Saturdays for a firm in the automotive aftermarket cooling sector
They have said my welding is good enough but one of the guys there who I haven't had a chance to talk to yet does awesome welds on pipework and uses pulse
Any hints or tips?
Here's the look I'm after in the picture with the silicone joiner and sorry for the not so close up pics but my stuff if the batch of pipes I made up on my first trial at the firm, if you zoom in you can see the welds ok
Thanks
Marc
