Currently working on the rear arches of the car. Plan is to paint with Jotun 87 aluminium then finish with Raptor.
Removed all the underseal, and beneath it is the silver metallic the car was originally painted in. The arch appears to be constructed from two halves which have been welded, then seam applied to cover the gaps.
The sealer was painted over with silver paint, despite it being soft and squidgy. I'm wondering if I could apply my Jotun 87 aluminium over the top, would this be suitable? Or would it be best to remove the seam sealer, paint the Jotamastic then apply the Raptor?
Thanks
